Capital Market Based Accounting Research Paper

The Institute of Accounting and Taxation (University of Munster) and the Chair of International Accounting and Auditing (TU Dortmund University) invite authors to submit theoretical and empirical papers for the 2nd annual conference on the relation between capital markets and financial accounting.

AIMS: The conference aims to bring together leading financial economists and accounting scholars in an informal setting to discuss a small number of high-quality research papers. Up to six papers and discussants will be selected for conference presentations.

TOPICS: Authors are invited to submit papers from all areas at the interface between capital markets and accounting. We especially encourage authors to submit innovative research using new empirical approaches, novel research questions, and new theories which challenges unresolved and questionable existing results and/or extends the current state of the art.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Professor Jake Thornock, PhD (Brigham Young University).

PAPER SUBMISSION: The deadline for submitting papers is October 1st, 2017. Late submissions will NOT be accepted. Please submit your paper via email to: adrian.kubata@wiwi.uni-muenster.de

NOTIFICATION: Email notification of the outcome of submissions will be sent to the submitting author by October 15th, 2017.

TRAVEL EXPENSES: Travel expenses (transportation, accommodation up to 2 nights) of presenters will be covered up to an amount of 1.000 EUR for one person.

PARTICIPANTS: The conference has limited seats for participants in order to promote close interaction. The registration for the conference will begin on October 15th, 2017.
